First Smiles
The group of people that teach Sunday School with me held a baby shower for Evan.  The shower was on Saturday, May 4th, and I remember telling one of the ladies that I could tell Evan was close to the smiling stage.  And then, sure enough, on Wednesday of that week, May 8th, Evan was smiling up a storm.  Real smiles!  Here are a few of the smiles I caught on camera.
                                

Evan's Outfit

I started knitting this outfit for our baby in August of 2012, and I didn't actually finish it until after Evan was born.  And then he was so small when he was born he couldn't wear it anyway.  Luckily, this was a strange year where we had a snow storm on May first, and even when this picture was taken in June, it was still cool enough at times for a cute baby to wear a cute little wool outfit.  I used Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, so it's very soft.
